The first time I brought my items for dry cleaning was fine, no problems. I then dropped off my wedding dress for cleaning at the end of September and was told that it would take 4-6 months for it to be finished as it needed to be sent out. Since we already had our wedding, that didn't really matter much to me. Five months later, I started to get anxious about it and wonder where it was. I called twice to the Oregon location and 'left a message' for a manager to call me back. The person who answered the phoned sounded annoyed that I had called a 2nd time, stating that she was waiting for her manager to let her know since it was at the McFarland location. I was under the impression that when it was sent out, it was sent somewhere further away, possibly justifying a 4-6 month turn around time. After 3 days of not getting a response to my call, I started to wonder if they even knew where it was. I called the McFarland location to inquire about it since no one had called me back, and the person who answered knew which dress was mine immediately, telling me that it wouldn't be ready for another 2-3 weeks. I got the general impression that it had just been laying around the place for the last 5 months, which did not make me happy. I only gave this place 3 stars because my first experience was pleasant, but if my wedding dress had been my only trip there, I would have given it a 1.
I took in a comforter to be repaired and cleaned the last week of February they told me it would take to weeks. I went back 3 weeks later because I had forget and no one ever called me, I was told that it was not finished and would be delivered in another 2 weeks and they would call and made sure that they had the correct number to call. I wasn't in a hurry because I had another, but I was getting a little annoyed. It is now towards the end of April and I still have not received a phone call. I finally called again and they said that it was finished. Why I never got a call who knows and the length of time it took to be completed was outrageous. Not to mention the repair job was very half-cocked. I could have sewn the repair better myself and I am NOT skilled in the art of sewing. All in all I am not happy with the service or the time though the people seemed to be friendly enough.
If I could give this place a 0 star rating, I would. I don't sew but I needed 2 pairs of palazzo pants hemmed up about an inch. I dropped off my items and was told about 2 weeks and on my ticket it says "will call". 23 days later....I call and ask if they are done, the girl says "yes", I asked when they got there and she didn't know. I immidiately go in, the daughter and mom team are there. I asked if this is how they conduct business? I explained I never got a call, the daughter couldn't answer any of my questions without total attitude. I directed my questions at the mom, asking her when they were planning on calling me? As she was sitting down eating (at 8am), she said "they have been very busy, but when they are not busy they do give a call to their customers". Very very rude customer service, not to mention my bill was $38.00, which was the cost of one pair of the pants. Very unprofessional, I would never refer anyone. The cost would not have been an issue if the customer service would have been better, i was at least waiting for a simple apology.
I will absolutely never go back here again or refer anyone I know to this cleaner.
